life as we know it

for the next two weeks, until the move, i'll be slowly consolidating, donating and packing all of my belongings. i tend to move with as little as possible. every time.

the boyfriend is here. (i really dislike that term). ~~the man~~? ~~the suitor~~? ~~the beau~~? the lover? MY lover.
my lover is here. he moved up to utah a little over a month ago to start up the company that is taking our lives out of california. well he came "home" on friday and is staying here in LA until we both can completely pack up our lives and re-locate. it was very draining for him, being in limbo. working there during the week and coming home on the weekends for classes and me. we set him up a little work station in the dining area. it's really nice to have him here. i was not a fan of the long-distance. we might as well have been single during the week and in a committed relationship on the weekends. not a fan.

yesterday (labor day), we spent time with his sisters fam and my cousins fam. was nice. family is everything.
